New cutters are equipped with exceptionally sharp tooth edges, a feature that can lead to micro fractures during normal cutting operations due to excessive vibration. To mitigate this issue, it is advisable to adhere to a break-in procedure. We recommend conducting approximately 60 minutes of solid cutting or covering 500 sq. cm. of material at 40% of the recommended feed and reduced speed. This break-in process effectively rounds off the sharper edges, contributing to an extended blade life and optimal performance.
