Founding Years
A 1980, batch Mechanical Engineer from Indore, Mr. Vijay Kasat , used his entrepreneurial skills along with his younger partner Mr. Rahul Modi , again a technocrat & Post Graduate in Business Administration, to set up a new Greenfield Bandsaw Manufacturing unit in Indore. Unfazed by lack of resources, both went ahead to establish this unit as a successful venture for indigenously developed Bandsaw Machines in India.
The duo never looked behind & forged their energies together to give shape to their dreams-giving birth to a venture that has become one of the most inspiring move of our times. Indotech - a vision which took off from a rented shed, has now its own state of art plant situated in a Developed industrial area of Indore city and a motivated team of nearly 180 people -including the workforce delivering hi-tech cutting solutions for all segments of the engineering industry.
The Breakthrough
Indotech was founded with a dream and a determination to bring to India world class products and services for Metal cutting, which was a most neglected area till date but the most important and basic area of any Engineering industry.
Since its inception, Indotech has worked relentlessly towards its goal and today its almost 60 % revenues coming from Forging Plants and small scale customers apart from serving almostall the bluechip engineering companies from India. we have expanded our vision to being a supplier of quality band saw machines. Indotech through its vision and imagination strengthened by its continuous pursuit for excellence has brought under its umbrella, well proven and state of the art technologies time tested to fulfill the stringent needs at vital installations in India & abroad.
Our range of products extends from the 100 % indigenous Double Column Horizontal Bandsaw Machines, CNC Versions, Fully Automatic as well as Semiautomatic & Manual, Vertical Bansdsaw machine for Plate/Block Sawing application and special purpose cutting applications for all segments of the Industry. Expansion and Internationalisation
To increase capacity and automation, as well as minimise the dependency of human skill, we at INDOTECH have developed an automated band saw system named the Indotech innovation System, which sets us apart from our competitors.
Our System consequently represents an enormous advantage, as the saw can be operated by minimum numbers of workers. The system further increases the yield and guarantees accurate cutting, above all, it increases capacity via its automated functioning. In addition, the system is both easy-to-use and safe. The operator is generally able to use it proficiently in a matter of days. With every new purchased band saw, we also ensure the training of the operator.
Indotech band saws are suited for operation in any environment, be it in the Siberian cold or the heat and humidity of Papua New Guinea. Bands saws include numerous hydraulic solutions, which are tailored to the client's needs. The hydraulic system enables all the necessary movement of metal: loading, turning, longitudinal moving with rollers, alligning the vives with bend bars, etc.
