Gear Box

The gearbox features a helical geared motor rather than a worm type, leading to heightened cutting rates and an overall machine efficiency of 98%. This improvement is attributed to the positive transmission of torque.

Linear Motion Guideways

The saw frame movement is facilitated by highly precise pre-hardened and pre-loaded linear motion guides. This design ensures a smooth cutting operation with minimal friction during the up-and-down movement of the saw frame.

Hydraulic Power Pack

A separate and compact power pack tank is employed, accompanied by an easily manageable valve station. To prevent oil leakage and minimize pressure drops, all connections are made using rubber hoses rather than MS tubes.

Dovetail Type Movable Blade Guide

A heavy-duty dovetail-type moving blade guide, crafted to perfection, is designed with minimal clearance between the components. This precision engineering ensures a deeper depth of cut and vibration-free operation for optimal performance.

Rear Feeding Arrangements

The fabricated bed is meticulously stress-relieved, featuring a robust beam support beneath the machine columns. This design effectively mitigates vibrations arising from cutting forces, ensuring the elimination of distortion and guaranteeing long-term accuracy throughout the machine's lifespan.

Additional Wheel Support

An additional heavy-duty bearing is incorporated to support the opposite end of the gearbox shaft. This design effectively isolates the shaft from radial loads, mitigating the risk of breakages and enhancing the overall durability of the system.

Blade Tensioning

Our machine is equipped with standard hydraulic blade tensioning. It is crucial to emphasize that this feature plays a pivotal role in optimizing blade performance and ensuring consistent blade life. The tensioning equipment has been meticulously calibrated to meet the specified tension levels recommended by the blade manufacturer for this blade size. Additionally, the inclusion of a trunnion-type assembly facilitates easy wheel alignment, a feature not achievable with manual blade tensioning equipment. Hence, hydraulic tensioning is considered a standard feature to enhance the overall functionality of the machine.

Operator Console

An ergonomically designed console, along with the touchscreen HMI, incorporates all must-have function controls. All electrical components have clear designations and are neatly mounted for easy maintenance. The console is well-covered and designed to keep dust and moisture away from critical components. In addition to displaying all function keys, the touchscreen also shows the piece counter, blade life, etc. It includes a detailed fault diagnostic feature with all possible solutions displayed on the screen.

Bundle Cutting Attachment

A heavy-duty bundle cutting attachment is employed, utilizing double-acting cylinders to generate sufficient force for maintaining bundle integrity during both cutting operations and bar feeding. This design ensures repeatability in performance. The main vice adopts a split-type construction, effectively securing the job and cut piece in a clamped condition until the cut is fully completed. This feature prevents the movement of small cut pieces along with the blade, eliminating any potential damage to the blade. The shuttle vice, crucial for smooth operation, moves on heavy-duty solid hard chrome-plated guide bars instead of a flat bed. This choice minimizes wear over time, reducing the likelihood of jamming in the shuttle vice.
